I bought this January. I am still adjusting to the ring. It's better then using the button to hold down the while I scroll down. Just roll the ring.

Great trackball, the only 2 fearures i missed - wireless connection to pc and back-forward buttons (somewhere above and forward of right button).
4 only cause scroll ring is jumpy - it jumps 2 steps instead of 1 every other time.

In all fairness, I have only had my Trackball w/ Scroll Ring for less than one hour. Plug & play gets 5 stars on my 1-day old Windows 10 laptop with a REALLY LOUSY touchpad. I haven't found yet on this site where to download software. Orbit trackball is way too wide, but I'll get used to it. I do like the scroll ring. I expect my rating to increase as I get used to my new laptop + new trackball.

I love the design.
As far as functionality, the scroll wheel is amazing and comfort level on my fingers and wrist are excellent. I am very please and so glad I switched to this trackball!
